Rifftrax : Brainiac / Devil Girl from Mars and Giant from the Unknown

Brainiac is the type that MST and Rifftrax do that I really love - poorly dubbed foreign films with really lame 'super heroes' like Prince of Space, Warning from Space, Bloody Pit, Samson, etc etc etc...

I'm sure I've seen all of the MST3K episodes, but I dont recall a thing about any of those three. Added.

I watched Giant from  Spain  ahem...the Unknown a couple nights ago and I do love that riff! Brainiac and Devil Girl, added to the list.
I do love the extremely cheesy Japanese stuff as well. I loved 'em at MST and still love when they pull one out at RT.  I don't recall Samson.  I'll look that one up.

Thanks, Peep!

The Thing That Couldn't Die is one of my favourites. I've memorized almost every line, it's the same with Terror from the Year 5000. I simply love the 8th season.

JetJaguar73 - YES.  I also have my own head canon about the Rocketeer/Brute Man connection.  Glad I'm not the only one!

Right!? It's the perfect side-story.  It's the Loki series to The Rocketeer's Avengers.

Put me on that list, too!
I was a big fan of the Dave Stevens comic series. Interesting side note: One of the editors at the first slick glossy movie magazine I wrote for in the early 80's went on to work in Hollywood. Initially, she worked on trying to make film deals for creators in other media and one of the first people she worked with was Dave Stevens. Had a nice little chat with him over the phone about the series and how it was going to be a tough sell to get any studio to include all of the stuff he included in the comics, particularly the locations like the diner shaped like a dog. I was amazed that the film ever happened and more amazed at what they were able to put on screen.
I love watching ROCKETEER and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER as a double-feature (the Joe Johnston film festival!). I look at the Cap film and see what could have been if ROCKETEER had been a success upon initial release. Actually, I'd love to see a WWII film with Rocketeer, Captain America and some of the INVADERS team, like the original android HUMAN TORCH and SUB-MARINER.
Since Disney obviously owns the ROCKETEER film, I wonder if they could merge him into the MARVEL Universe and then the MCU?  There has been talk of a remake / reboot and with Steve Rodgers having stayed in the past, maybe Captain America could go on some covert missions while WWII is still going on. There was a Captain America that operated during the time Steve was on ice. Maybe just make that Steve with a new cover identity?
Anyway, good to see some love for ROCKETEER.

I love Dave Stevens art. It's a true shame that there is so little of his published art out in the world. The man is an inspiration to me and my illustration. There are some new Rocketeer books out there, that were obviously not by Mr. Stevens, but they are fun reads. You should check them out.

I too love The First Avenger and now, since Steve Rodgers did go back in time and live a whole lifetime, we could see an old school Invaders flick.  That would be dope AF. OG Torch, Sub-Mariner and new timeline Cap? I am sold.  This is easily the best idea I have heard to bring a Chris Evans Cap back into the MCU.  I'd watch one of those every few years. This really needs to happen.
