Suburban Sasquatch Uncut with Dual Audio, Rifftrax and Original
#1
I think this is one of Rifftrax best releases in the past few years and deserves an uncut version. Audio track one is Rifftrax, track two is the original audio and there's a small video quality upgrade and chapters were added. Roughly 23 minutes are added including a couple new scenes and a new character who may be onto something big with a huge sale coming up.

Its not perfect, I did the best i could with what was available. The original audio is rough on its own with sync issues etc. and i left that stuff alone. Also I had to cut one or two jokes that took place during transitions because of background noise that didnt match and stood out.

I must also thank anybody who has done the syncs in the past, this is very tedious work and I appreciate your time even more after doing this.

Somebody call the cops or the SPCA or something its Suburban Sasquatch!! Uncut!

Hello all,

Thank you for sharing this. I tried to dl this as I always do (never had any problems with mega before), but with this file, it said I had reached some kind of limit and couldn't download the file. It got to 75% of the download buffering or whatever that is it does after you click download before you can actually save it to your computer before it sent me that message. My hard drive has plenty of space. I haven't downloaded anything from mega at all in at least 7 to 10 days. And before that it was maybe one file. Am I doing something wrong? Has mega changed at all? Do you really have to start paying for it now? Huh

I appreciate any advice anyone can give...I hope I don't sound too much like a n00b... I'm really not!

Hello my friend, in my experience i get capped at 5gb then i have to wait a few hrs to continue downloading but what you're describing doesnt really fit that because the film is less than 5gb. If you're importing it to your cloud it may be at capacity but if you're just straight downloading it im not sure why you would have reached a limit, maybe someone else with more experience with mega can help. Im uploading a smoother cut of this film now, maybe try again with that one. Sorry i couldnt help more.

Last night, after i was able to review my cut of the movie with the help of some mushrooms, excretions from frogs and certain fish I asked myself, is a bear intelligent? Can a gorilla be a magical creature? I came to the inevitable conclusion that my edits on Suburban Sasquatch were garbage.

So i reworked each edit in the movie to make them smoother. Bills Harry and the Hendersons joke was cut because of background music that didnt match.

If you downloaded the movie already and you're happy with it, all is well, its not that much more hacky than some of Wascavages editing. Sometimes i heard pops or volume changes thinking it was my cut only to find it was Wascavages.

But having said that, I didn't want to add to the beautiful mess that is Suburban Sasquatch. I mean you don't add brush strokes to a Monet right? Anyway it probably wasnt needed, the changes are very small but if you're like me and it irritated you I have replaced the link above with the better cut.

it means he was already up from 0 bytes from previous, separate downloads. your solution is still accurate though: he just has to wait a bit and then it will let him continue until he hits 5 gigs again.

i have noticed that mega downloads temporarily take up double the space on my hd; a 1.5gig file is still 1.5gigs, but my space will drop by 3gigs until the hd "sees" itself, like through a restart or if i plug in an external. i can't tell if the invisible cached space the downloads take up have any impact on mega correctly reading the 5gig limit, but i often feel when i hit that limit as though i have downloaded far more or less than 5gigs.

Usually if you haven't been downloading anything from Mega, but it's saying you've reached your limit, then someone else on your IP has been using Mega. That's usually more of a problem with big shared networks, like at schools or businesses, and with VPNs, as you're sharing the same IP addresses between a bunch of people. In the latter case, it's best just to disconnect and reconnect for a new IP address. If you're not using a VPN or aren't connected to a large, shared network where other people would be using the same IP, I don't know what to tell you.

Thx very much Cabot for all your hard work on this cinematic turd!

Btw: I was having problems DL-ing also. What worked for me was:

1] Using Chrome not Firefox (which I do for anything over 2 GB)
2] X-ing out of Chrome;
3] Quitting my VPN entirely;
4] Going back online with Chrome & No Vpn, lingering for a couple minutes, then X-ing out again
5] Engaging VPN again, using an unusual city for me like "Silicon Valley" [instead of NYC or Chicago]
6] Opening Chrome & come to this screen & clicking the Mega Link.

Worked perfect after that. Hope this helps! Cheers : )
