Strange video torrents..

Hello,
Lately, I come across video torrents which do not open after downloading them on my machine. When you right click on them you see there fake. They only take hd space. Have you guys seen that too? Who makes them and why?
I can give you an example torrent of that if you wish. Sorry, but I can't describe them better...
Is there a way to recognize them before downloading?

Are you sure you're using the latest codecs? Are you sure your PC supports the video format? Try VLC Media Player before reporting false positives.
