Spam links?

When I click on any torrent download link, a screen pops up saying I need to register for a free account, this then leads to an outside site: droolplay.

What's going on?

yeh, you're probably using a proxy or something thepiratebay.se is the correct domain, otherwise you're clicking on an advertisement, in which case, use an ad-blocker, uBlock Origin, Ghostery, AdBlock, etc etc

Thanks, but I'm not using a proxy or clicking on an ad. I've been using this site successfully for a decade now. Just today every magnet link OR torrent link is coming up w the same issue.

You don't need to register in order to download a torrent from TPB, I'm pretty sure ur either using a proxy or ur getting a pop up ad.

I am fully aware that I do not need to register to use TPB as I mentioned before I have been using this site for a long time.  I am NOT using a proxy, and unless the site has been severely compromised, I am not clicking on ads..  I tried to add screen shots, but the forum won't allow me to.  I am clicking on the magnet links; I even tried one I know is good as I downloaded it a few days ago.  Same problem.

I think it is related to the recent changes with browsers not allowing the site.  URG!

You were right, friggin Chrome was auto re-routing me to a proxy. after I entered the real address. I downloaded Opera and now all is good in the world of pirating. ahhhh

you have a bug.
One that has attached itself to your torrent client.
Test the theory by deleting it and trying another one.
