Source for TPB Block In US
#1
So Pirate Bay has been unreachable in the US for quite some time now. Many say this is because of a block by ISPs. If this is true, why can I not find any news article or source of information regarding this. You would think this would be a big deal because it is the first time something like this has happened.

"In November 2017 SWF Construction won an $18 million contract to replace an existing 2 mile wall in Calexico".
At 9 million per mile the 1954-mile USA-Mexico border will cost about 18 billion (current predicted cost is over 21 billion).
If it goes as well as WTC, it should be a contractor's wet dream. I can build a wall for 1/10th of that price. And it requires 24h electronics and troops anyway.

TPB Status Wrote:If our sites have been available but you've been unable to reach them that is outside of our control. Some part of the Internet may have broken or someone may have deliberately blocked you.
Give it a day or two then try a proxy or VPN.

I set my VPN to Kansas City and I can reach the HTTPS site fine? I'm sure there are other working locations but that's what I've been using.

I live in Canada, and it's been a long while that the Pirate Bay hasn't been accessible.

But I can find it with proxies.

Would downloading using proxies be advisable if I am using proxies?

^^ What do you mean by "downloading using proxies", downloading metadata (.torrent files if there were or lifting magnets) from a proxy site carrying TPB or sharing data files (target files) with users?

I meant downloading torrents on torrent sites that were accessed from proxies.

In that case, a proxy is a middleman; they can see what is going thru their handling, as your ISP, CSEC, and tracking sites.
