So, anyone else going to be watching the final season of this kick-arse show? Normally I watch complete seasons when they're released, but this is one show I'll be following week by week. It's been fantastic since it started in 2008, and has everything - action, drama, violence, kickass bikes, some 'woah' fight scenes, lots of pew! pew! pew! and a decent soundtrack to accompany each season, not to mention the nail-biting plots and out of the blue surprises - the brutal murder of Tara in season 6 being just one.
Bikes, bikes, moar bikes, and even moar bikes... aw yiiss.
I'm trying my best not to read too many reviews of the seventh and last season, as a lot of it's pure speculation anyway. Writer Kurt Sutter is very original in his thinking and even killed off his own character, but let's face it, after the daily beatings/torture his character "Big Otto" Delaney endured in prison, his death was welcomed.
Momma's gunna cut your throat right open.
I've no complaints about the acting either, and before SOA, I never rated Katey Sagal as an actress, but holy crap if she isn't one of the best badasses on tv. She has that rare ability to be both incredibly tender and loving, but will rip off your head if you cross her family.
Dagnammit! You spilt ketchup on the headrest again.
The cast is stellar in terms of acting performance, and the guest actors are cool as fuck. Who can forget author, Stephen King's cameo as Bachman, the 'cleaner' who wanted some 80s music to listen to, while he 'cleaned.'
The premiere of season 7 is a 90-minute episode and airs on 9th September, with a further 12 60-minute episodes aired every Tuesday, on FX (USA). The season finale will be aired 9th December.
'Juice' Ortiz, the MC's Intelligence Officer, lol
