Here is some details to give you a idea and intent of this FAN EDIT  ..........


Doctor Who: The Five Doctors : Videobook (vBook)

A video adaptation of the The Five Doctors BOOK 

Many people have only watched The Five Doctors TV MOVIE (1983) and not read the BOOK.

This Fan Edit takes the best of both to give you a new interperation of the story.


Brief Synopsis:

I am being diminished, whittled away piece by piece. A man is the sum of his memories you know, a Time Lord even more so...

A twentieth anniversary special featuring the Doctor in all five of his regenerations.

Why are all five Doctors being removed from their separate time-streams? Who is the enemy they will have to unite against? What will become of the Doctors when the battle is over?

We have travelled a long way with Doctor Who. The Five Doctors gives us a chance to turn the clock back and meet some old friends — and some old enemies.

Read by Jon Culshaw with Dalek and Cyberman voices by Nicholas Briggs. Complete and Abridged Version (thru editing) by BBC Audio

Intention:

I wanted to recreate for this fan edit a version of them old GOLDEN BOOK VIDEO(s) from 1985-1986, and in editing the first part, I found out that there are people out there who have never seen or know what Doctor Who it got me thinking that if i was a child watchig this what if this was case with me. in making this edit i went out of the way to give detail when need as if I dont know who or what Doctor Who is.


Other Sources:

Golden Videobooks used Limited Animation with still shots  to tell a story,

I did the reverse with this edit i use Still images and limited LIVE ACTION, all images/video used was taken from The Five Doctors TV Movie (minus images used as flashblack point of reference)

I combined The Five Doctors Novel with The Five Doctors 1983 TV Movie

New Title Intro , and subtitles

Gave it a old 80s VHS TAPE Look , Custom VHS Cover , to give it the real "lost treasure" found in a thrift store feel 

And special thanks to all the other online creaters for there help

Hi Shibby, I also don't give a toss about Doctor Who but my curiosity got the best of me and I downloaded your fan edit since there's been quite the buildup for it  

I got what you were going for and think you did a fine job with the editing. I probably won't watch the remaining parts, due to the non-toss giving and all, but I just thought I'd let you know I enjoyed your efforts, for whatever that's worth.

But I'm back on my game and GOOD NEWS just finished the next chapter in the Doctor Who The Five Doctors , whe i get chapter 8 done I will release Part Two of this vBook ......... 

Now, when i finish this project  I will be starting yet a new one  ........ when this comes up I will take a VOTE to see which vBook you all would like to see next
