Check in your torrent client if the default folder where the completed downloads end up has changed or if a "Move to Folder" option is accidentally on.But before that when you add a torrent or a magnet link to your client check in which folder it will be saved.

What operating system are you using?
Is it possible that you're being watched and somebody knows what you're doing and what you're downloading because you are exposing your computer activities so some kind of auto bot software on your computer is automatically removing the torrent as soon as you've downloaded it because they don't agree with you doing that?

I have a suggestion on this certain uploader which you are attempting to receive from.
The uploader in question is a green skull (VIP uploader) and are often uploading lots of torrents on the regular. If you look at their torrent history by looking at all their shares and click on their name on TPB and you'll see all kinds of things uploaded. Go back to the date where this uploader has uploaded the torrent in question on 15th of November you will notice there is actually 2 other torrents that they uploaded on the same day the 15th of November of the same year.
Have a look into this and try those other 2 torrents is my suggestion and see what happens. There are 2 other torrents which I know you aren't interested in what they are but at least give them a go also to see if they disappear in the same way.
It does sound strange all this maybe it's something to do with naming or maybe an extension or something like that where the name has been done in a weird way where it just vanishes or maybe it's there but hidden from view you should try and measure the number of bytes in the folder you are downloading into and then try and download again and as soon as it has check the bytes for the folder to see if anything has changed or if it's just the same as before? Worth a shot maybe just try anything like that and see what happens...
This uploader in question is a big popular uploader and uploads lots all the time has dozens of upload pages and has green skull so has done something right to earn the skull which is a better one than pink skull. If this said person was uploading and did lots of strange things possible they might get their green skull taken away for silly trickery or maybe have their skull changed to pink for making torrents that don't work in some strange manner.
I don't think this kind of thing is very common but if somebody has done this on purpose then it's quite an unusual situation could be somebody who has knowledge in torrent trickery that most people don't understand. I would very much doubt all of that due to the amount they upload... just simply try the other 2 torrents on that date 15th of November and see if it happens on those?

It's strange how the other two torrents that were uploaded more or less at the same time or on the same day have no problems but yet that one in question has the problem and like you say it's goes strange and does weird things.
Did you manage to do a byte count on the folder that you're downloading into?
Have you tried downloading into or onto a different hard drive than the one that you've been using? Possible there might be some issues with that drive. Worth doing a check on the drive that maybe you are experiencing bad sectors maybe. Probably nothing to do with that but at least try downloading into another hard disk or drive or even a pen drive if you can and see what happens to see whether or not there is any difference.
Have you managed to find anything else interesting through Google searches? Maybe if you search on disussions regarding "Torrents that disappear upon downloading complete" or something along those lines did it fetch up any forum related posts where others like yourself have had the same thing happen?
I know you said earlier on you downloaded into a phone so it probably has nothing to do with the device you're using I just can't understand how this is possible. I would suggest googling everything you can on the subject until maybe you can shed some light as to what is going on.
Either the files are there downloaded or they aren't. It can't be both it's either one or the other. Does the client report that the content is downloading as you watch it being transferred? What happens then to the client stats as it has reached 100% do the files show up in your client or just vanish?

i download this torrent in under 3 minutes in linux with transmission and the files were complete with no threats found. maybe your settings opened the file rather than save it and they might be in a temp folder. also try to download with another torrent client.
