Despite court findings, historical precedence, and overwhelming public feedback, the FCC in the USA is going ahead with plans to create a tiered net access based on who can pay the most.
The FCC has the power to classify the internet as a utility or common carrier that serves the public. Currently, it's classified as an information exchange source which allows the FCC to create a tiered system.
The current FCC chairman is a former internet provider lobbyist, so which way do you think this is going right now?
