I've added languages to it for others in the distant past and i do remember that you'll need a software like PowerISO to mount the .iso files which are the virtual versions of the physical language disks.
Alright, I got this to work. Most of the steps given by people were vague, so maybe that's why it never worked.

Thanks!

There's no need to disconnect your internet or disable your Network Adapters.
In the video below i use PowerISO and have a language .iso (French Level 1) on my desktop. If you don't already have PowerISO. Download and install it from the link below:

https://thepiratebay.se/torrent/9113836/...-ThumperDC

In the video. The process is EXACTLY the same for adding additional levels (With very slight variations but the interface will tell you what you need to do) or languages.
So i'd recommend that you set up your 1st disk on your desktop so you can mimic what i do in the video:

Quote:1. Run PowerISO.
2. Right click on the language .iso on your desktop. Scroll down to PowerISO and select "Mount Image To Drive...." (For me it's drive J)
3. Run Rosetta from your desktop shortcut.
4. Click on "Add a Language Level".
5. Click on "Continue".
6. Click on "Install selected language".
7. Click on "Accept".
8. Click on "Add another Language Level" if your adding more levels or click on "Continue" if not.
9. Click on "Do not check for updates again".
10. Click on "OK".
11. Click on "Never register".
12. Create a user and click on "Save changes".
13. Now just configure Rosetta as to how you would like to learn your desired language etc.

Hey Nelly!

I read the above posts and saw your movie about setting up rosetta stone. Thanks a lot!
The point is, that installing the software is not really the problem. Its more, that when I install a language pack, I can only do the first 2 lessons (out of 4), without having to register. You can see this by clicking the language (then you see a timeline) and only half of the lessons is available. After this I have to 'activate' the language packs by using an activation code. Do you have any experience with this?

I described my problem more accurately in this post: https://pirates-forum.org/Thread-Rosetta...8#pid66528
i'm currently using a Mac, but I could consider running parallels if this can only work on a windows.

I have installed this program as well as the language levels without any issues. I did need to have my wifi disconnected when installing the language levels in order for it to give me the option to never check for updates. Everything works perfect except if I power off my computer. When it starts back up again and I open Rosetta Stone shortcut it gives me an error message that says application error with the code 2123. It only happens once the computer has been powered off after installation. Ive installed it several times now, ive opened the program and than closed it and it still opens and works just fine as long as I don't actually power off the computer.. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated!!
