Friends, we hope you enjoy these little tête-à-têtes we bring you, because it’s always cathartic for us to pause after a recording session, look each other in the eye, and ask “What the hot-buttered hell just happened?” Today's offering, Light Blast, is no exception. 

A title better suited to describe a short but loud fart, Light Blast actually proves the rule that no matter how much money you throw at a film, there’s no guarantee it’ll be a good film.

An international cast, a then-high-profile TV star in the lead, elaborate multi-camera chase scenes through San Francisco, dangerous stunts, massive explosions; and yet the filmmakers managed to make Smokey and the Bandit 2 look like Autumn Sonata in comparison. But that’s the fun of it for us, and hopefully for you.

Enjoy, but try not to explode.

Love the discussion of Vermont, Radical Jack, and Rusty Deweis. The Edgewood films are my all time favorite Rifftrax. Though Conner should definitely chat with Rusty.  It's Vermont!
