I've always viewed the movies in alpha order
I've been saying to myself I need to invest in another external  hard drive one of these days for a lot of days; I would get all of these as backups of titles I own
I often delete movies and watch them again later

I just finished indiana jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. It was so fun!
So when did the film get renamed from just Raiders of the Lost Ark? I could just keep searching but it's more fun to ask strangers
Indy riding his horse down an alley of conscripted workers; the cinematography of that shot is gorgeous and seems lifted from a silent film
We got a strong female character; look at her kill count
We have a protagonist that is a blank slate, he is all of the things
It's visually and aurally sumptuous. It's got it's flaws but wow is it fun

1999 is actually the answer to when it got renamed! (For branding reasons of course)

"To be consistent with later titles in the franchise, the film was retitled Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark for its video release packaging in 1999, though the original title is retained onscreen in the movie."

Oh hey, the boys finally did the inspiration for Zardoz!  It's 1939's The Wizard of Oz, added to the stash!  (Credit to bsg4you for the original Rifftrax video file that I used as the base for this commentary...first track is Jaboody, second is Rifftrax and third is original 5.1 movie mix)
