Reporting
#1
Without beating a dead horse over this issue, and I see one thread has been closed over the issue - the basic question is: What exactly should we REPORT in the thread dedicated to it (which we cannot view prior posts to compare).

For example:
There is a poster who generates hundreds of posts in a short time with no prior history. Everything points to them being booger laden. But Virustotal is not showing anything (yet). Some suspicious activity in the sandbox...

Do we report this?

Is this even normal or acceptable behavior?

Personally I only down material from posters with a prior history and no complaints of infections, though in fairness I have found some skull posters material to be infected by clearly identifiable nasties. (As opposed to the 'trojan.generic' stuff).

Is there a FAQ somewhere on what exactly we should warn others about?

Also: is there an issue with comments? I see posts with the comment icons, but wth no comments when opened!

If/when you find something that strongly appears to be spam, malware, or fake and not clearly labeled as such, or anything that appears to be child porn, then you create a thread in the  in the report torrents/comments section with a link to the torrent or user in question with a quick explanation of why you reported it.

A moderator will check it out and close the thread.

Repeat for each instance of jackassery you find.

Generally, much of the new stuff you find will already be gone by the time your report is reviewed, so it is more helpful to report the stuff that you find that is still there after a day or two.

Yes, a flood of questionable stuff is prime for reporting.  Whatever it is you saw may even be gone already.

There is no issue with comments.  Spam comments that get deleted can leave behind ghost numbers.

Our FAQ is linked in the header.  If there is something you feel should be added, feel free to start a new thread on it.

If you do report a spammy faker for his nitwittery you can use the "Report Torrents / Comments" section.

EDIT: Just use Moe's post for reference, he answered first and clearly is more detailed.
