RSS feeds would greatly improve TPB
#1
Hi,

I'd love if you added RSS to TPB. It has an rss URL at the bottom, which currently does not work, it gives a 404. But what made me use KAT before was the fact that it has rss feeds for every category. So since I love comics, it would auto-download every file that was uploaded in that category with certain words in it, and stuff. Please fix this, that would greatly improve TPB.

No RSS feeds for comic releases is killing me. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE need this. Or is there another site that has RSS and is uploaded with comics regularly?

The RSS feeds haven't been operational since the site returned 18 months ago, so there is no reason to expect they will ever return.

But it is quite easy to create your own feeds based on TPB URLs (such as http://thepiratebay.org/browse/602) using http://fetchrss.com/ (or similar services).

Bear in mind that TPB doesn't host .torrent files so (even if it were to come from TPB itself) it will only provide magnet links.

In a totally unexpected turn of events, it appears that the RSS feeds are back!

Only the main site feeds, at least at this point. There used to be feeds per Trusted/VIP user as well but they don't seem to be there for now. I shall refrain from commenting on whether I expect those to return or not.

Both yes and no. The RSS doesn't really work: https://thepiratebay.org/rss/new/602 - at least not for "new comics".

It looks like the Top100 feeds are working but the New feeds aren't.

Glad to read that the RSS feeds aren't being ignored. They're a really handy way to keep up with several sites every day, especially for people like me that are stuck without home computers or laptops.
Thanks to everybody involved for keeping TPB alive & moving!

Did you get this to work? So far I haven't found one that does.
