Do you use feeds for torrents?


If so how do you use them and what do you expect from your client?

I don't because I don't regularly download any particular things that could be serialized in a feed.

But if I did, I would like my client to be able to subscribe to a feed and give me the option to automatically add any new entry in a stopped state, and remember which ones had been previously downloaded even after I removed it from the client, with the ability to re-add anything I wanted to download again.

I used to do rss for tv shows. But now that there is almost nothing currently airing that I watch I just search manually.

Ditto. When it comes to TV Shows I prefer to wait and then download a season (or, better yet, a series) pack.

But if I did, I'd also like the option to be able to have received entries auto-start or start in a stopped state.

And to have them be able to handle feeds containing torrent files (or links to torrent files) and feeds containing magnet links.

I used to rely on RSS feeds for cyberlocker items, like avaxhome and such. But I never used them for torrenting. When I was fiddling with magneteke, one of the crewmembers, a certain Jazzmine, made a tagcloud addon for mybb based on RSS feeds. It was pretty neat. I'm pretty sure the botposters here are RSS based too, but only SID vicious can testify to that.
