This isn't HD.  Rifftrax put this out only in SD even though it's obviously available in HD.  On top of that, they used a terrible SD copy with the wrong aspect ratio and then made multiple jokes about how close everyone is to the camera which is only the case because the copy they used is matted at an aspect ratio that cuts off the top, bottom, and sides of the picture while still being widescreen.  I buy these every week but this time it wasn't worth the money since they made no effort to use a watchable copy of the movie.  The Rifftrax copy is dreadful--a 1.33:1 VHS transfer probably would have looked better.

I'm perfectly fine with old-school flicks like these in SD, as well as riffed and released in SD.
i'm actually here for it.

I also enjoy a lot of the upgrades the fine folk on this board release.

It sucks that you didn't like it. Heard.

Thanks, Tadd

I mean ... it's not like director Godfrey Ho and the cinematographer Philip J. Cook have a long history of ground-breaking mise-en-scene and luscious photography.

I'm okay with it too.

Are you trying to insinuate that a guy that directed 39 films in 1988 isnt very good at it??
