[REQ] The Retrievers
#1
Tom Cathral is trying to publish a book. There’s just one thing standing in his way. No, not reduced adult attention spans contributing to the overall decline of print media — we’re talking a secret paramilitary group that will stop at nothing until Tom is dead and every copy of the book is destroyed. Audiences have one question: Why couldn’t this have happened to Dan Brown?

I thought it was pretty good, though I always wait a couple of weeks and rewatch.  For some reason that's when I really connect with them.  I was actually going to ask if anyone caught the 372 Pages podcast reference to Bob Honey in this one.

Thanks again for the share!

1st, thank you very, very much for your kind and prompt upload, Taddghostal.

2nd, as for thoughts on this R-trax: I’m surprised at some of the things that were left in, vs. excised-out.  The film itself is like a crappy, semi-competent hybrid of a rushed Simon & Simon ep mixed with the worst Sidaris movie on Cinemax; it’s an ugly little flick.  Despite R-trax having a lot to work with, I’m surprised they managed to mine any good lines out of it at all.  But there were a few yucks, to be sure.
