Not many people know that Christopher Lee was cast as Fu Manchu because the producers just assumed, that given his last name, he must be Chinese.

When I was a kid I thought David Carradine was Chinese, but it turns out he was just really into Chowking.

Thanks savindwales! The manchu movie done on the classic MST run is one of the two or three episodes that I never could get through more than 20 minutes of even though I tried multiple times. Hopefully this isn't as painful
