Questions about pirated content and Canadian border control
#1
Alright I am heading down to Canada in a couple of months. I wanted to know if border controls going to care if one of my hard drives as 2-3TB full of pirated Movies, TV shows, and some hentai?  if they check my devices?  I don't want my laptop or hard drive being seized or something. if anyone has any advice please tell me!

I use Fedora 27 on my laptop and will be using plex server to organize them for the trip.

They do not care about piracy at the border.

That doesn't mean that the presence of that hardware won't make your life miserable if they want to check it for anything else.

As long as you're not suspected for being terrorist, you should be fine.

Besides, Canada is less uptight about piracy than the US.

Well, they do clamp down on piracy here, it's not exactly a third-world empire.

However, besides a few warning letters, they've never given me too much trouble.

What are you in Canada for?

Prime Minister (i.e. Federal, the entire country), or Premier (i.e. Provincial, a province, such as Ontario)?

We don't have presidents.

EDIT: Anyhow, I don't think you should worry about a thing at all, and Moe agrees with me.

Don't you, Moe? Big Grin
