Port Forwarding in uTorrent

If you are using a VPN, there is no need to also configure your router unless you are also running your clients without the VPN.

The VPN tunnels through the router, so there will never be any incoming connections to forward at the router.

Well, I already did it... can I leave the port forwarding on the router since I did it already?

Tell me if I did this right, here's a screenshot:

As you can see I set the port forwarding option for udp and tcp to "both" and the port range to be the exact port that I'm forwarding...

is this all correct?

It doesn't matter if you are using a VPN. Just make sure your VPN server is forwarding the necessary port(s).

How do I do that exactly?

I can't say specifically, as I don't use your VPN service.

It might be in the app you install to control it. It might be something you have to log in to their web site to set. Best to ask their support if you can't find it.

As already mentioned, you dont need to forward on your router if using the VPN port forwarding. Doing so will leave that port open and not associated with any program/service  - basically, leaving any traffic to exploit it's access to your system.
