Poland has unveiled plans to build a homegrown electric car factory in the southern coal mining region of Silesia, state news agency PAP reported.
On Tuesday, ElectroMobility Poland (EMP), the company coordinating the project, said in a statement that the factory is set to be located in Jaworzno and that its construction will begin late next year.
According to PAP, the factory will provide around 15,000 jobs.
