Quote:A decorated veteran who raised more than $20 million to finance construction of a wall along the southern U.S. border has announced that he will instead use the money to finance a new nonprofit group that will build the wall itself—or at least a couple miles of it.
Brian Kolfage’s crowdfunding campaign on the website GoFundMe went viral in December, before news outlets uncovered previous instances in which the triple-amputee veteran appeared to have pocketed funds raised through similar, if far smaller, campaigns billed as efforts to assist wounded warriors.
Now Kolfage, a prolific operator of conspiracy theory Facebook pages, has recruited a team of prominent figures in President Donald Trump’s orbit to run a new nonprofit outfit named We Fund The Wall to do some wall construction of its own. The new group’s board, Kolfage announced on Friday, includes Erik Prince, the founder of infamous military contractor Blackwater; David Clarke, the scandal-plagued former sheriff of Milwaukee County; Fox News contributor Sara Carter; Tom Tancredo, an immigration hardliner and former Colorado congressman; and former Kansas Secretary of State and voter fraud crusader Kris Kobach.

It’s not clear how much money from the crowdfunding effort will make it to the nonprofit. GoFundMe is emailing donors with an option to proactively agree to send their money to We Fund the Wall, but if donors decline or never respond to that option, they’ll receive a refund.
In a statement, GoFundMe cited Kolfage’s initial statements on the fundraising page as proof that the initial campaign had failed to achieve its goal. In GoFundMe’s view, that means they can refund donors’ money.
“When the campaign was created, the campaign organizer specifically stated on the campaign page, ‘If we don’t reach our goal or come significantly close we will refund every single penny,’” GoFundMe’s statement reads. “He also stated on the campaign page, ‘100% of your donations will go to the Trump Wall. If for ANY reason we don't reach our goal we will refund your donation.’ However, that did not happen.”
Even without GoFundMe, though, Koflage may reap another benefit from the crowdfunding and a related petition, since those have provided him with a large email list of fired-up conservative donors willing to spend money on a cause that they believe in. On Friday, NBC News reported on Kolfage’s history of harvesting large political email lists, including one text message in which Kolfage discussed using petitions to “steal/collect emails.”
Apparently wounded veterans can also be assholes.

This proves that Cult 45 members can be duped by just about anyone if Trump's name is attached! If you want to make a ton of money and are looking to scam someone, that's a whole industry in itself.
Conservatism in this form is a mental disease! If only medical stem-cell technology could be used to create new frontal lobes to surgically apply to the brains of those "conserva-dunces" , we could make them liberal and therefore more logical. Mitch McConnell could use one of those too.

This is just sad that the government can't lead their own problems and that people have to step in to do it.

If an asshole can scam the people to build a wall and get elected, why can't another con fuck the people to get some money?

This is why I don't vote for Republicans. They are either con-artists like Brian (or Trump) or sexual predators.. maybe even both.

I don't vote republican because they keep giving tax cuts to the rich while trying to kick 20 million off health insurance and cutting food stamps.
Sad part is that the corporate democrats aren't much better. They are all sold out to Wall Street, big pharma, etc. They are also pro war and pro Israel.
One thing I learned from Obama's eight years is that no matter who the president is the wars won't stop, the drone strikes won't stop and the NSA spying won't stop.

politux is linking far-left websites that use subliminal, emotional word plays in it's Fake 'news' articles - as all ideologically 'progressive' (ie., Socialist/Communist) driven fake news does. (see BOLD in quoted post)
To 'Progressives', name calling and character/reputation assassination using emotional dog whistles to drive anger, hate and violence is one of their most effective MO's as it gets the uneducated/misinformed/hoodwinked to vote and promote an agenda they really do not understand. They profess a desire to end hate, violence and every *ism (sexism, racism, etc.) , but use those same racist, violent & emotional attacks in every thing they do. Pure hypocritical double-speak.
You want to help the 'poor immigrants' invading the USA or other countries? Open your own home to them then. Donate to the lefty causes.
You want to solve this Global Warming scam? Start walking everywhere. Dont use fossil fuels or technology. Start growing your own food and dig a well for water.
I could go on but none ( generally speaking) of you POS probably do anything to solve things or discuss solutions other than attacking conservatives or those who don't join your narratives. I'll bet you a-holes have no idea what a Conservative is or what Conservative values are - all you know is what you hear on the TV from the usual Fake News talking heads who live behind locked gates with armed security protecting them.
BTW, I donated $110 to that fund and have NOT received any such contact from GoFundMe regarding a refund.
Look at the pic:
At this pace the fund will be 250+million after a year, which IMO is not bad at all. Also, I call FAKE NEWS on the article because, as the picture shows, the fund has only been going for 27 days - so, how can they, in all honesty, say the fund has not achieved it's goal when there is no end date but a $ amount that is the goal???
I'd also suggest that you take a look around at your neighbors. Conservatives outnumber progressives in both numbers of people and in gun ownership - you run up on my property pulling that antifa BS and you'll be perma-banned from this world.
I dont know what cuck country you all come from but Im USA born and raised. If you aint from the USA, then mind your own fuckin country and the shitholes they have become because of these so-called 'progressive' values - we have enough traitors and DIMs who are turning every major city to an urban shithole while they try to continue obama's dream of 'fundamentally changing the USA' to a Socialist skeleton .
Have you seen Paris lately? or any other Western European country? They are circling the drain and have been pacified and disarmed by their own 'Government' and the people are now sacrifices for the Islamic invasion happening.
Whatever. I'm gonna sit back now and watch you flame on me which is the usual progressive tactic.
Bring it.

> That's a simplistic approach. Let's not just reduce society to it's roots, we can't just throw away cars and cities in a snap.

But what if your annoying leftist friends decide to buy many more guns than all your conservative friends ever dreamed of?

The Daily Beast is one of the most reliable , fact-based websites there is ! Just because you can't handle the truth is no reason to lash out against the REAL news which you and others on the "conservative" side choose to label "fake" because it hurts your illegitimately-elected president's feelings.

You again just described Donald Trump! The self-serving man you probably voted for has insulted just about everyone who disagrees with him politically, and that applies to those Republicans who are critical of him as well. And yet your president purposely acts as he does to piss Democrats and liberals off. There are commentators who proclaim that Trump has no allegiance, and yet he's playing the Republican Party playbook now as it benefits him monetarily. If there was no corporate or dark foreign money in the political process, this country would be a hell of a lot better off. Both parties are guilty of that of course, but Republicans are much better with their corruption because they're all about the power and they are opposed to governing and government as a whole.
Here's a partial list of 13 things Trump said or did that were racist :
www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donald-trump-racist-examples_us_56d47177e4b03260bf777e83
Before 2017 in this country, presidents of both political parties worked to bring ALL Americans together. Maybe we can go back to that on January 20, 2021....

Most immigrants in this country illegally commit less crimes than white Americans. Yes, it shames me to be caucasian with the knowledge that most mass shootings are committed by people of my race! The MS-13 gangs are hardly a factor. The crisis on the U.S. Mexican border is manufactured by Donald, and the GOP is covering for him because when he goes down....so will a lot of them! The only real crisis down there are immigrant women being separated form their children, when those kids are being held in detention center cages and fed insufficient food. That's unique to the current administration, as it continues to allow inhumane treatment of ASYLUM SEEKERS who are neither violent or criminals. Quite the opposite : they fled corruption and violence by their own country's governments!
Global warming is a reality -- look at the polar ice cap! For the past few decades it's been melting faster than it has in thousands of years. The reason : burning fossil fuels contributes to carbon emmissions which have been slowly destroying our environment. Exxon knew about this in the 1970s, but sat on it, and now in 2019 they're going to court over that cover-up. It's because of all that ice melting it's releasing massive amounts of carbon and methane into the atmosphere, which causes extreme weather patterns around the world. Considerably more flooding, harsher winters, cold climates having periods of unseasonable warmth, droughts in the West, etc. 99% of climate scientists agree this is an actual problem! The 1% or less who don't are bought and paid for by the petroleum and gas companies, much like the entire Republican Party!

If you watch FOX News, then you may be beyond help.....unless you watch the one commentator on there who always speaks the truth : Shepard Smith. He's conservative and he reports the real news that contradicts everything the Republicans and Trump are saying. Smith regularly exposes the scammer that Don the Con is. Increasingly we also get factual information from Chris Wallace as well. But everyone else on that channel blatantly lies with their Republican / billionaire propoganda that's in complete contradiction from CNN and MSNBC, which although are also corporate-owned are far more reliable. They and others have been bringing your criminal president & his former associates down almost as much as Special Counsel Mueller.
As for conservative values, there was a time in this country when those still existed but there hasn't been a completely legitimate Republican president since Dwight Eisenhower. It was he who invested in infrastruture building projects ( the modern U.S. Highway system ) and for his 1956 re-election campaign also championed expanding Social Security. Therefore Eisenhower was the last PROGRESSIVE Republican. He -- and to a far lesser degree Ronald Reagan -- couldn't exist in the modern GOP. Your party has gone too far in the wrong direction, and are all about the wealthy. They don't care about working people such as you. And so your $110 is lost, which is unfortunate. As an entrepreneur myself, I know what a scam is and years ago when I was new to it online I threw money away too. But we learn from our mistakes, and I hope you will as well!

All of the things that go on,When I was young I considered myself liberal (Cause I smoked weed)Now its legal. Time goes on and I got old enough to learn Moderation. Left Right The Center. The left Is extreme. The Right is Extreme. I cant consider myself either. Cause Im Pro Gun and Pro Abortion And those are deal breakers for the left and right. So thats why politics are Wack. Cause The Center the moderate Is generally disliked from both sides . But the only way that things work as they should is when there is a balance. When one side gets more power and beats on the opposite numbers then a swing happens and things reverse. Balance is the only way. Or you get crazy shit.
Just look at history its there over and over. And will be again cause we don't learn.
