I've never seen a "reboot" episode, but this I may need to actually go to the movies to see. This seems like the best so far at describing the crew and their similarities to the old crew. Si FI effect look awesome, and looks pretty funny. May be due to comedic writer Simon Pegg (who surprised me when I saw him on the writers list here). He's funny as hell, so the movie can only be better.

I may have to torrent the older "reboot" episode. Hard for me to watch this, since these movies deal with the old cast. TNG was easy since they were different; new kirk/spock movies can only ruin the original... But after looking at this, I may be wrong???
