PDF readers and PDF converters suck
#1
I'm trying to read a PDF book and the text is both too small and I've got to scroll all over the page to read it.

So I converted it to EPUB.

My epub reader is choking on the file.  The converted files lack something that allows easy page flipping and magnifying the text.

Seems like getting a better PDF reader would be a better option than converting between different file formats. There are many open source PDF readers available. For example, this:

https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/...n-us&gl=us

Or this:

https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/...n-us&gl=us

Ladynne3, which OS are you running? Windows or GNU/Linux?

For Windows, there's Evince, and even most web browsers can open it too.

Don't quite understand the problem.
It is more likely a problem with your PDF file than the PDF reader.
If possible, post the file.
Maybe you can request for the book. There is perhaps an epub version out there.

PDF conversion to ePub can be done within reasonable limits, using 'Calibre'. Search for 'Calibre PDF to epub tips'.

Windows..
Linux..
Android..

I've multiple computers and my phone.   None of the PDF readers, including adobe, seem to be any good.

PDF readers are made for doing stuff like office work so they lack a lot of luxury functions.
Reading for pleasure is EPUB. I just kept looking until I found the 3 books I want to read in EPUB format.
