I suspect a scrape was done by another tracker to mirror the content in case of a problem

Given I collect music this is of interest.

This can be bad, or not. If the intruder wants to download terabytes of music to feed their own sharing service, or two provide a stream platform, why not? But if something else, time will tell. For now, they know what you did this summer.

Very creative response if I may say so.

However, I know what you were thinking before you wrote message... trolling the Void as always!

In all seriousness, if the intruder downloads something of your drive, then your bandwidth goes to hell.

Either way, a hacker compromising your computer is neither a laughing matter nor a desirable outcome.

No disrespect, of course.

Sounds like quite a security breach on their part if someone is able to bypass their selection process.

I suspect it may also be a trolls trying to gather IP addresses of pirates.

Problem, courts have ruled IP does not equal identification

Attacking a computer could be a problem with some fat republican and his shotgun when a sheriff comes over asking to many questions

The common law castle defence is another weapon pirates can use in court

Now that poor dude that was nicked back when Napster was a thing, I never liked that as torrents are decentralized. No trackers needed.
