Mothers, guns, politics.

In the news, the now congresswoman "Mother Cop" who killed a thief at the school door in the middle of some mothers and children, being sued by the mother of the assailant young man. It could be just another case of gold digging opportunity by a shameless relative to a criminal, but this issue is about exposure: The then anonymous victim turned avenger got flowers from the governor on mothers day, while the also anonymous robber mother got nothing but the video of her son going down the month prior to the election.

While the deceased's mother said from the beginning she doesn't blame the cop for doing her job under justifiable circumstances, she didn't expect those images to be so much exploited and the resulting turmoil amongst neighbors and even inside her home. Grandsons daily yelled each time they saw the shooting on TV, with the passionate criticisms against the "evil criminal". She's under medication, diagnosed with depression, and the family is shocked.

The killer lady got a record breaking ballot count even without any previous political experience and no solid program, as right extremists become popular and prisons are more in demand than ever, in a chaotic Brazil turning Venezuela, usual fate of banana republics down South.

To add salt to the injury, the officer - who was trained at police academy program to deal with public affairs and conflict negotiation - declared many times she has courage to do what was needed to protect her kids and the other people and will do it again. But she also said having no acknowledgement of the sue thus couldn't make any comment, the most common bullshit used by politicians, lawyers, corrupt entrepreneurs and other vermin in the businesses.

She's really up to a good start and probably a rising (shooting) star.
