Monstervision on a Budget
#1
Hello, everyone. I've found many Monstervision files of great quality/size. But I am not really bowled over with Mega's handling of large and/or frequent downloads, so here are my versions of those files at a much smaller (and lesser quality) size, making them much easier to download (and store).

All I have I've acquired through this forum. What I'm putting up here are the ones originally that only had the JBB commentaries and I went and got the movie and put 'em together. Plus there's the hybrids I've done combining JBB with Rifftrax/MST3K when possible. There's an excellent collection done by someone else in this forum that can be found at this address:

Really excellent work and as complete a collection that you'll find anywhere. Hope this helps.

Are these the ones where someone spent countless hours upgrading them all and decided to squish the 16:9 films down to 5:4 with no cropping or panning? (From spleen)

Not a criticism so much as just confusing why someone would make that choice because those are unwatchable.

The link I was referring to was runrunbill's, the 16:9 to 5:4 issue sounds like something I would do but honestly it was not an issue I had even thought of or considered. I'm doing it strictly for the reduced file size. I wish I had the storage for some of the excellent work found in these pages. I'm afraid if kissed by a prince/princess, I would still remain a dumb 'ol toad.

This thread makes me really upset. Storage is so cheap my dude, unless you're watching these on a flip phone there's no excuse.
