Mega Payed Account Storage

Hello everyone. I just have a question regarding Mega's payed account options such as Lite and Pro. Since I know many people here have used an upgraded Mega account before, I thought someone here might be able to answer this very important question regarding the additional storage limits. I can't seem to find the answer for this anywhere...

If I payed for only 1 month of Mega Lite ($5.38) and completely fill up the 200 GB storage limit, what happens when I go back to the 50 GB free account the next month?
Would 150 GB worth of files be permanently wiped from Mega's servers, or would they still be downloadable through Mega links, even though we can only store 50 GB at a time?

I've never let mine expire, but I image that you'd lose access to at least some of the files like that.

Thanks for the response Iwata. I'm a little surprised this topic has never come up before since most of us have just been carefully budgeting our 50 GB limit with the free Mega account. Hopefully someone can confirm the potential file loss if we upgrade and then downgrade though.

I only use my free 50 GB Mega account for RiffTrax uploads to this Forum. I've currently uploaded 21 files here that total 34.14 GB. All of the links that I've posted so far since I joined are still active, and I really want to make sure that they stay that way. I don't wanna litter the site with a bunch of dead links if I don't have to, but I still want to help out as many people as I can. I just can't afford to pay a never-ending monthly fee for a Mega account with more storage just to ensure that all the files that I upload here are never removed from Mega's servers.

Thankfully, I just found out that you can actually create multiple free 50 GB Mega accounts with alternate email addresses. The accounts aren't even tied to your IP address like I initially thought they would be. After creating a couple extra backup accounts, I now have a total of 150 GB to work with. Problem solved...
