What is to be learned? That humans are capable of engineering complex devices to explore beyond their native planet? That has been a known fact since '69 and I don't argue it.

Whether or not there was life there before, and if so how it compares to life on earth. Who knows what could come out of that. History has shown lots of discoveries were made unintentionally while looking for answers to a different question.

I have thought about it for a while.. One guy was once in a house slowly catching on fire. Instead of bringing water in hope of putting it out, he starts climbing the tall parabolic antenna installed on top of the roof looking for answers there.

Dealing with the fire is my priority concern. Climbing the parabolic antenna, with all the answers it may hold, may be other's.
