About 15 years ago I downloaded an .ISO made by a fan that contained all (or almost all) of the MST3K shorts. It was a few (maybe as much as five?) hours long. Obviously, the quality was for crap (given the compression and the fact that it was old Archive Project sources), but not too bad for a laptop (if you're a super-fan like us, that is).
Does anyone have a copy? Or know where to get it? I used to just leave it on repeat on a portable DVD player I used to own. It was nice ambiance.

I've still been searching, but with no luck. (Except bad, I suppose.) Haven't given up yet, though.

These days, it'd probably be easier and better-looking to just edit all the shorts from the DVD rips and compile it yourself.

Wow! Thanks Tom Servo! This looks amazing, what with all the serials in there and in order.
Awesome sauce, sir, my proverbial hat is off to you.

No problem. Glad I could help. I didn't create this DVD though. I'm just trying to "Keep Circulating The Tapes", which in this case is almost a literal statement given the resolution.
Assignment: Venezuela is the only official MST3K Short not included on this Custom DVD, since it was never officially broadcast.

'Assignment: Venezuela' is seriously one of the funniest ones. 'Venezuela is already done! They don't need me to do it!'

15 years old and complete (-A.V)! This is it! OH MY GOD! I'd pretty much given up. A million thank yous!
And I don't too much about the res for something so badass. I've seen it before. Time to break out that little portable DVD player again.
THANK YOU. It bears repeating. It's extra fun that it's a rarity some on the forum didn't know about it. 240p in a time people are upgrading to 8gb HD riffs.

I was just as happy as you when I finally found that VIDEO_TS file in my storage on an old 3.5" SATA Internal HD labeled "Full DVD". I thought that HD was exclusively for all the Full DVD copies that I made in the early 2000's when I use to be a Manager at Blockbuster before they closed. I actually saw this Thread when you first posted it last year, but unfortunately I couldn't find the original DVD-R disc anywhere in my dozens of Disc Books. Thank God I'm a die-hard digital media junky who apparently saves everything!

I completely agree. I could easily write a whole essay about all the fond memories that I have with this DVD alone, including all the times that it made my friends and family completely laugh themselves into oblivion while watching it. I've always been a huge fan of the MST3K Shorts, and especially now the RiffTrax Shorts. But watching them in between segments of the MST3k Movies (as they were originally broadcast and released) never really gave them the full attention that they deserved. Before this DVD was posted online in 2004, all I previously had was an incomplete Shorts VHS compilation that I made in the late 90's using a dual-deck tape recorder. Considering that we're now living in the 4K Ultra-HD generation (including Virtual Reality in 5K and 6K), it's kind of depressing that the entire MST3K Catalog still hasn't been remastered in 1080p on Blu-Ray yet.

^ This is a project that I've wanted to do for years, but I just never got around to it. It's a shame that the Holographic Versatile Disc never came to fruition, because we could've fit the entire MST3K and RiffTrax libraries onto one of those! Either an uncompressed Blu-Ray ISO or a slighlty compressed Dual-Layer DVD ISO would be nice for a future upgrade.
