MST3K Live Show Recordings!
#1
Somebody managed to get a cell recording of both live shows. On the down side, the video is turned away for a lot of it, early bits of The Brain are missing, and the audio gets bad for the early parts of Deathstalker II (at least until the movie begins). On the up side, you still have both performances in their entirety. A skilled enough editor could piece together something watchable. The following are the video IDs on YouTube where the videos can be obtained. Grab them while you can!

The Brain
Show:  oNVqmR_zCYg
Movie:  17JnkOFoAQA
Missing intro recorded by someone else:  Pmet1JmywFg
Host segment snippet recorded by someone else:  O2qdRAO4WX0

Deathstalker II
Show:  o30_4kq_TIE
Movie:  fZ1Kv_ONFuk

I got to go to The Brain show. It was a lot of fun, but they didn't actually watch the whole movie like last year. That was a bit disappointing. Now I have to watch the whole damn movie with my wife since she's never seen it. Oh well, David Gale is entertaining enough!

Thanks a million for posting this. Downloaded these. I'm planning to try and sync the audio of the live show to a decent video of the movies a shot. But it will be at least a few weeks before I have the time, so maybe someone will beat me to it.

*bump* Same here did anyone ever sync up the show audio with a good video source?

Started to give this a shot, but the poor quality of the audio (lots of crowd noise) made it even more difficult. Started to try and clean up the audio a bit, then got distracted and forgot about it. Might give it another shot if I find the time, but it may end up being beyond my syncing skills.

Here's what I could reconstruct using existing footage those recordings and whatever other clips could be found on the net. Most of the host segments might still be blank, but at least they're watchable. Can anyone else do better?

Nice! I'll give those a look a bit later. I'd much rather they just recorded the live shows and sold them so I can buy them, but I'll take what I can get.

Same. I'd be eternally grateful if an Argoman recording managed to surface.

This was totally beyond my skills and patience and I definitely couldn't do better, so thanks a million just a guy.
Have only skimmed them, but your work appears very watchable and pretty amazing given the quality of the sources.
