I'm not sure how to put a finger on it or express it,
but something bothers me about that guy.
I haven't even seen the new MST3k.
I heard it wasn't THAT bad.
But I just cant picture watching it with patton asswalt on it.

I disagreed. Patton Oswalt has proven before that his touch can be awesome, like his voice work in Ratatouille and two episodes of "MLP: FIM". He also did a bit work on Crank Yankers as well before the first cancellation.

imo "Happy!" wasn't the worst thing to ever be on television, though oswalt always felt a bit miscast

I can see that.
Becasue I think I used to like him well enough.
At least not bothered by him.
I thought he was good enough in Heart she Holler.
And he's done so much stuff that it cant all be bad.
But I think peopel change sometimes.
I dont know if its him or me.
But it was one of us.

I, for one, enjoyed the new seasons. I could make a huge list of things that I didn't like about it, but the net experience was good. I had hoped that the longer the show would go on, the more things would gel together. There was a lot they changed between the two seasons. One of the better one was Kinga and Max's relationship. I REALLY disliked the first season fawning. If you think about the original show, even though Forester was always killing Frank, they acted like an old married couple after a lot of seasons.
I am not an Earhardt fan, so I dont enjoy the first season of MST very well, but ANY MST is better than none. That is a thing that is the saddest about the new show ending. In the original show season 3 was pretty strong, and I hoped The Return would follow suit.

Many of the episodes were good to great. So I'm not happy about this news. I'm, sad.

Being happy this show got canceled makes you the same as people who were glad the original show got canceled because they didn't care for it.
The world has room enough for shows that you don't personally enjoy.

I'm sad the show got cancelled......but I get it. Jonah never had the appeal to me that Joel and Mike had and honestly, the show was too polished for MST3K. Even on Comedy Central and SciFi, the show had a....commando feeling to me that the Netflix show never had.

The world has room enough for shows that you don't personally enjoy. Not at all. I loved the real MST3K ~ the "new" seasons I liked about as much as a root canal. And FYI...people that didn't like the "new" seasons are just as entitled to their opinion as you are to yours.

This is the "Some Nazis are good people" argument, and it's sad that anyone who uses the same forum as I do would even attempt it.
Being happy at the misfortune of others is NOT just as good as wishing people could just enjoy what they like without other people wishing they couldn't do so.
