Leaving a way to contact in the information
#1
If im filling out a way to get contacted in a txt file that will be inside my future torrents, is the safest way to be through this forum? Or is it equally as safe to use a UNIQUE protonmail that's in no way shape or form related to anything else.

I also know TPB's email was through hushmail, would it be better to invest in an hushmail account? Or is the simplest way to just say contact me through this forum?

So the text file would read "blah blah blah contact me (unique email)@protonmail.com blah blah blah"

You can set up your forum account to notify you by email whenever someone sends you a PM or replies to one of your posts/threads (follow this link), so I'd definitely go with the forum option. Leave a link to your forum profile in the .txt file. It also gives the user who wants to contact you an sense of anonymity/security. Be aware that some categories on TPB will not accept txt files in the torrent tho.

Yea, .nfo is just a .txt file with a different extension. So you just rename your .txt file after saving it.

Another way is your username itself, or a name you point to in the torrent title. People with reasonable understanding of technology and all will try to find you here if your user name is the same.
