Landlord-provided internet/VPN
#1
Hi everyone,

I'm not very technically literate, so I apologize in advance if this is a really dumb question.

I recently moved from a place where I paid for my own internet to a place where the landlord provides internet. I live in a city with a brutal rental market, so I've been nervous about the risk of the landlord becoming aware of torrenting, and haven't done it since the move--I'm in Canada, where they still send those ridiculous threatening notices. I'm considering using IPVanish to mitigate this risk. Is this a good option? How foolproof is IPVanish?

Thank you!
