Issues playing PS2 torrents
#1
So a while back I modded my fat PS2 with the mod that lets you open the top to switch games. I got swap magic and imported a Japanese game and everything worked fine. Now I tried downloading a torrent and burning it to a DVD. I followed all instructions in downloading the torrent, burning it to the DVD, and using it in Swap Magic correctly, but after swap magic goes to the load the game it brings me back to the original PS2 menu. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Whether it be the torrent, burning it, swap magic, or something else, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Not sure it's the cure to the problem at hand, but if you're still stuck by now, maybe this can help.

I hope it does. Smile

Ah, fuck Free McBoot. Let's get to the basics. Have you burned other copies and tried it, or is it that just one copy that you tried on the PS2 with the Swapmagic? Try other versions.

It's always a good idea to see which model number of your PS2 is, as well as the version and compatibility of Swap Magic so you don't go blind.

When I said "try other versions," I meant another version of the game downloaded and burned.

is your pc good enough to run pcsx2 emulator?

It is the best way to run ps2 games because you can DRASTICALLY increase the graphics

Danimal, I don't think the OP wants an emulator if he already has the system.
