Introduction Thread - New members say hi here!

Thought I would say Hi, I mainly joined to report Threats to the General Consumer. I'm getting tired of repairing my cousins PC after he downloads something off of TPB plus I wanted to do something nice for my girlfriend (She wanted to watch a movie, but I'm a broke SOB) needless to say I discovered blatant malware it's annoying to clean up and if I didn't run a VMWare Box it could of been worse. Needless to say if something on TPB looks too good to be true it probably is there is obvious exceptions like that Star Wars Bluray-RIP but of course that doesn't happen often enough for me to be trusting.

I expect I'll be around often enough. The Bad to Good Ratio of Torrents should keep me pretty active on the forums.

Not really a new member..
I used to hangout at old forum a lot..
For a long time I thought that the forum was gone for good,until some times ago I found this again.
I´m from Finland where the internet providers have blocked piratebay.se+other sites.
I usually find alternative link..
I´m about 40 years old geezer,on early sick retirement(which gives me little more money compared to unemployment money,because I have not had work which would fill the length criteria for work pension)
My English skill is not very good..Mostly it is what´s left from school and learned from TV.
so I apologize that there will be typos and grammar errors(google translator is the worst teacher).
I found the forums about ten years ago..After I had broke my PC by removing heatsink by hands due to a friends advice"Vacuuming don´t help.You must clean the PC throughly"and without knowing anything then about computers..I broke the processor that way.
It was a costly lesson..
Everywhere else was log in and pay to get an answer for technical problems,music etc..
I have learned a lot from these forums..And I must thank the staff and members who have helped me.
Even I have forgot lots during few years..
I has been a heart warming to see how the tutorials section have grown back.
Also thanks for all the uploaders..Without them me and my friends would have had very boring and costly years.
It was not nice to pay from movie which had awesome trailer(..and rated way too high or low)and when I used to pay 25€ from my small money..And noticed that what was in the trailer,was really all the film had to offer..
Well after this long writing(I could have go on and on..)
