Hi.

Just bought this DVD-ROM drive from Lite-On and the model number is IHDS118-04.

I chose this drive because it plays DVDs exceptionally despite it being merely a reader.

However, while it can be detected in Windows, it can't be detected in BIOS and it cannot be booted.

Does anyone here know why?
