I have a problem a problem with a movie

try running it through mkvtoolnix, that will likely get it to play. Just “add source” and then click “start multiplexing”.

I did put that on my PC and did the multiplexing and the movie still doesn’t play on my PS4

Just to confirm: you have successfully played the movie on your PC, right?

If it's a fake then it won't play on your PS4 no matter what you do to it.

I just tried the video on my PC & it worked just fine so I don't know what the problem is

The problem is that PS4's are games machines which are able to play some movie formats whereas PC's are general purpose devices which are able to play a much wider range of movie formats.

So that particular movie is in a format which your PC understands but which your PS4 does not.

So, you either have to watch it on your PC, or download another version of it (one which your PS4 will understand), or you have "transcode" the movie into a format your PS4 will understand.

Transcoding is not particularly difficult, but it will require the installation of new software, and a learning curve, and then an hour or two of processing (which will degrade the quality of the video).

For one movie, frankly it it not worth the time or trouble. Just watch it on your PC.
