How do I? Help please UK TV shows query

No its ok, ive have tried many video downloaders to try and get channel 4 and 5 shows but none work but there must be one somewhere as people upload torrents in avi/mp4 format. I dont mind paying for a programme as long as it works. Youtube-dl is such a quick easy option for bbc and itv. Do you know of a way to contact people who create the torrents to ask how they do it? Thanks for all your help

Hello, i have tried these before, thanks though. I have found a website that seems to be able to what i need to do but i do not know how they get the programme from the tv to their PC. It looks like a file sharing method but i have tried asking how they do this and they have said they record them from their TV. If i give you the website could you have a look and see how they do it? Thanks
