How can we draw on a map to mark a journey?

1. Open Google Earth.

2. Go to a position on the map.

3. Over the map, click Add Path. To add a shape, click Add Polygon.

4. A "New Path" or "New Polygon" dialog will pop up.

5. To draw the line or shape you require, click a source point on the map and drag.

6. Click a destination.

7. Click OK.

More on the subject, as tomorrow I'll start a month-long road trip and besides the navigating, services, and touring tools, I need to keep tabs on each "leg" of my travel. This is relevant because I'll visit eight cities, four beaches, and more, without much of a schedule/itinerary; plus, the expected unstable weather and partying may change my plans.
