i think i did it... i only have a free mega acct though so i don't know if that affects anything. can someone let me know if i did this correctly? thanks.
tomservo - i know you like hd high, i have limited bandwidth but if i figure this out, i'll try and figure that out for you too.
HD Medium, 1.3gig

HD High, 7.33gig

Thanks so much!
And for the record, there are a BUNCH of us who prefer the HD Medium version. It might be due to bandwidth allocation, storage space or other reasons, so, on behalf of those of us, I thank you for options!

HD Medium is the best bang for the storage space buck.

I still feel like there should be a low-bitrate 1080p in the mix somewhere, especially since TV High (480p) has the exact same bitrate as HD Medium (720p) at ~2500kbps. Regardless, I still download HD High whenever available and encode it into x265 giving me a file size of 3-5gb. That's really the best file size to video quality ratio for me, and the only difference is needing slightly more expensive streaming devices that can decode them (Nvidia Shield, Roku Ultra/Stick+).

Yeah, for whatever reason, I generally prefer to keep the original files, even though I know I could probably re-encode the 1080p files to get something that looks just as good as for less space. Less work, I guess. I have enough things I don't get around to ripping and encoding already.
I don't mess with x265, though, as my media PC is pretty weak, and I know my Fire TV and Pi 3 aren't going to be able to handle that well.

There are still 5 more of these damn movies (8 total). Bridget & Mary Jo have had some solid riffs in these but the characters and some of the in-movie gags drive me crazy. Although I imagine RiffTrax will only do the next one (Vacation Days) as only the first four are on Amazon and they are clearly using the same source.

Inquiring minds and all...
I'm also a really big fan of the MJB riffs. As much as I love the vanilla Rifftrax, I find these refreshing, different, and hilarious.
