Yo.

This thread is dedicated to whatever torrents I decide to make, there is no real specific category, I just make what I feel like.

Are the Dragon Ball Remuxes in English, Japanese, or both?

EDIT: Never mind, just read too quickly and neglected to realise that there was information in one of the links. Ask first, look it up later. Big Grin

Sorry.

The Season 1 blue brick is still being made today, and thus is about $20, only got it because it's the only north American release of uncut episodes 1-13. The others, known as the Saga sets are out of print, but more desired as they don't have DNR'ing, and even have japanese title cards, only problem is that the video quality is very meh as Funimation put too many episodes on a singular disc and had to compress them hard to make them fit. Due to being out of print and sought after, some are pretty hard to find for a good price, the Tournament saga being the most expensive at $50+. However, I got very lucky and found an ebay listing for all of them for about $60, this is why in the image for the torrent I have two copies of the same DVD.

Would I be able to burn the files back to DVD without losing video quality?

You said that it's the same quality if you play the files on its own, so I would think it works both ways.

EDIT: And another question: is the shown set the only ones you own, or have you bought another set previously? I ask because most DBZ collectors buy shitloads of editions from the past or after the present ones. To each his own, I guess.

EDIT: Fuck that last question; reading too fast again.

Rather unsure on if you can, I could rip my ISO files though and share those and they can probably work if your DVD player can take burned discs. It will be just as big if not bigger than the Remux torrent though.

Oh, I forgot: you used MakeMKV, so it takes the files and converts them to MKV. Sorry, about the third time I fucked up. Three strikes and I'm out, I guess.

In that case, I'll just burn them back. For a minute, I was too much into the idea that the files are rawly-ripped from the DVD, keeping the VOBs and IFOs verbatim and in the same condition. I neglected to realise that fact. Don't mind me, too much LDS. You see, I was part of the Berkeley Free Speech movement and I had too much of those. Tongue

OK, I'm well-cognisant now.

You're fine lol, again I could also just rip the discs and share the raw ISO's, then you can just burn em and they should work.

Well, if you're using MakeMKV, you're probably going to sacrifice the quality of the episodes when they are ripped. Don't quote me on this, but that's what I recall as the "truth." Do some fact-checks though.

If you are going to rip the files verbatim, you'll need DVDShrink or something that will knock out copy protections like CSS, Macrovision, and Region Protection as you can be sure that they will be there to fuck up your life. You may have known this, but review material, you know. Big Grin
