Global Warming..etc

Deforestation contributes to CO2 in the atmosphere by reducing the ecology's ability to absorb CO2.

The amount of CO2 that man puts in the air is ~130x what Volcanoes have been responsible for. There's also all kinds of other various other things that contribute to global warming, like other greenhouse gases (water vapor, biological methane) or the heat radiated from all kinds of our technology. Though I think the CO2 is probably the biggest culprit (not 100% sure on that)

Global warming is a natural process that we have no control over. We had a global winter that we called an Ice Age. Now, we have a global spring that is considered normal. We are approaching a global summer. After that will be a global fall, then another global winter, and so on for eternity.

When we can properly predict the weather 1 week ahead i will start listening to people trying to tell the world what weather was like 10000 years ago...

Simply put all the "old climate" data are people pulling shit out their ass. We have a hard enough time predicting what the weather will be like tomorrow... yet you want to say you know what the weather was 100,000 years ago... really?

Studies can be done to prove anything you want... all how you "interpret" the data.

Sure, we might not be able to get to a degree in accuracy for next week, but we can reasonably predict annual cycles. Looking at past climate data isn't about discerning daily temperatures from the past, its about observing broader time frames. So we might not be able to tell that next Monday will be -40 degrees, but we could predict its going to be damn cold. Its the same thing looking backwards.

@Sytem Folder: Yeah, there are natural cycles, but the crux of climate change is that we are going beyond the limits of those natural cycles. Think of climate like a spring. It will keep going up and down, up and down, but if some guy takes and stretches that spring out, he's going to break the spring. Its possible for human interference to break the natural cycle.

when scientists read the evidences that nature left, like the deep ice, the rings on trees and many other they get an approximate reading of how the weather was and that's why data can be interpreted both ways and there is no consensus, even among experts.
ofc you can also put lobbies on the equation and the result is a total mess Undecided

It comes down to if we don't fully have complete understanding of stuff we can touch and watch happen... how the heck do we have anywhere near an accurate guess of something that happened 1 million years ago and we just have leftover scars.

Carbon dating is one of those big things, there are tons of things that can happen to an object that will make carbon dating completely wrong. Things don't sit in a box protected from all outside elements.

I don't see a problem with trying to study things that happened in the past but i don't know if it is the ego of the people or what but they just have a hard time being honest with themself and say that they are just guessing about stuff they really don't know. I love to discuss theoretical science topics for fun but they don't really have any effect on our life, so outside fun it is pointless.

Does time exist? Are you dead yet and your mind just hasn't processed the data?

The climate change is causing humans to wonder if they're at fault for the change, but they're not; it's just a coincidence. We will later refer to it as a macro-season.

Although a Global Warming harms the atmosphere and initiates greenhouse gasses, which is an important issue for today's society.

I have posted evidence. And I have done so without any need to be insulting over it.

You have yet to post any sources to your suppositions.

yet, you have more than enough time to point out that you have an i.q. of 152, hold a masters degree in electrical engineering, hold other degrees in other disciplines and don't like biology because it's too boring.

well dang... throw in a black belt and how you had to register your hands as lethal weapons and surely you can convince the entire internet to agree that you have an awesome pair smarty pants.

in reality, since you didn't notice that op was derpish and in all likely hood was just attempting to spam the board, it makes sense that you wouldn't realize that the 'global warming' campaign lost momentum in favor of the 'climate change' campaign as it made more sense from a scientific perspective. while you can argue null factors and excuses all you want, there is a major climate shift occurring and while i won't even pretend to understand what is causing that shift... reducing pollution and living more efficiently is a good thing.
