for me, file sharing is a way to enrich others' lives with something they may not be able to afford. In the early 80s, we connected with BBs and then the sharing was mostly naked pictures created in ashii.
 Later in my Country, Sony (one of the big ones) made us copy and exchanged media content with others. Sony you say? Yes, they created VCRs with rec function to record from TV or connect to other VCRs and copy, they sold cassettes to computers like amiga, Vic 64 etc that was for coping programs, games, music from other people. Sony only complained when they didnt earn money on "piracy" anymore. "Sharing in Caring" |
