Can anonymous uploaders have flairs? When an uploader gets trusted/VIP Status, do all anonymous torrents uploaded by the user get the same status?

You're right. That's a bug, the flair should not show in the search results.
To clarify. Flairs are a flag set by staff on member accounts. Anonymous is a flag set by members on individual torrents. When a torrent is flagged as anonymous, the uploader name and any flair they may have should be suppressed wherever the username/flair is displayed. i.e. there are no "anonymous uploaders" only "anonymous torrents". And the "anonymous" torrents aren't actually anonymous--staff can always see who uploaded what.

Can we assume that the torrent uploader has a trusted flair when it appears in the search results?
