So, I've gotta chime back in after watching this last night.

Bruh, this is a crazy different film uncut. Billythefist was right, Palermo is indeed a fucking monster, no exaggeration!

This MST/RT flick went from being about "a schlubby, corpulent cop being a shlubby doofus in Malta" to being about "a schlubby, corpulent cop way out of his depth trying his very fucking best to stop a fucking monster of a man at all costs."  Joe Don's antics are a lot less funny in the original cut and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Geronimo as a stand-up guy trying to convince anyone to help him corral this piece of human trash.  I almost felt bad for laughing at the Joe Don jokes.  Almost.

Anyway and again, thanks to Billy for making and sharing this, it was an experience.

Thanks for this one. I was a really big Joe Don Baker fan when I was a kid. Working with Greydon Clark was definitely the lowest period of Joe Don Baker's career but this one actually isn't bad when you grade it on a Greydon Clark curve.
