A short film called "Last Day of Freedom."

About a real life case when a black Vietnam War vet suffers from a brain-altering accident and commits a crime.

His brother called the police and trusted that the justice system will be well, just, but in the end, he was sentenced to death in a trial of a white-filled courtroom (full of white people, I mean, just can't find the word) and his lawyer was drunk the whole time of the trial.

The story was told by his brother, and was agonising about the decision to have him arrested, trust a very partial court to serve justice,and the conundrum that he was largely responsible for his brother's execution.

It was pretty emotional, and even though I spoiled the plot, you should still watch the short because it will move you.

I saw that a while ago, it's a very moving story.  Do you think I should share it on here for the other TPB users to download and watch?

Yes, you should.

To this day, I've heard no one talk about the movie.

And speaking of movies, I've also seen The Force Awakens. God awful. I hope Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker are better.

Awakenings was a great movie. The nurse voices Marge in The Simpsons.

solid 8-10. i;ll have to rewatch soon. Deniro is a genius, and Robin Williams is proof that comedic actors can translate into dramatic roles most easily
