La double vie de Véronique (1991) - 4/5
A movie to be watched more than once to comprehend it. I had to read some articles to help me with the metaphors. Going to watch it again soon under new viewpoint this time. Also, Irene Jacob is effing beautiful. I'm going to grab Kieslowski's trilogy next and report back. **EDIT** I watched the trilogy and IMO as with "the double life of veronique" this is to be watched more than once and you really need to pay attention. A three of them are great, my favorite is "blue" Juliette Binoche performance in blue is amazing.

Bob, I think you should group it on 'liked it', "didn't like it", "okay"
I watched The Guillotines (2012) - 4.6 (IMDB) A Chinese martial arts / Action film "Xu di Zi", is a period film that tells the story of a Chinese "special task force" that works for the Chinese Emperor. They fight crime like "Mr. John Anderton" in "MR". Their weapon, apart from all the gymnastics is a CGI enhaced sling of sorts, which rules the day until the arrival of the musket and the cannon. Needless to say they are no match. Intertwined in this is the story of the "poor people" who are lead by a character named "Wolf" and going by his name you take him to be the bad guy until the story unravels, painfully slowly and you see he is the liberator and the STF are the "baddies". But they (the STF) don't know they are the baddies because they've been told to "fight crime" which is a good thing. A few scenes are worth watching, but overall nothing great. In all "Xu di zi" makes "you dizzy". Edit: I must add though that a lot of effort has gone into the making of each scene and some of the scenery/visuals is good and it is a nice change from the usual Hollywood action movie one watches. No clichéd dialogues. So i'll give a 'plus' for that to the actors and director. Neatly done.
