How about an "Ignore Uploader" button?
It would get the fake torrents off our screens, maybe set it to notify moderators if an uploader gets 100, 500 and/or 1000 ignores.

Well, I think, it's more difficult than a simple "Fake Button"

Same sort of idea as the comments button but if it's abused. The clicker of the button gets their asses banned. Might also help catch spammers and posters on "wrong" torrents who say e.g. "great upload. Worked great"
This is good but it seems they are using a script to mass upload at one shot..we would have to go through each one to report it? I think that the best idea would be to have a check for a first time uploader since you guys ban them anyway following a 3-5 page fake torrent upload it shouldnt affect a non-vip uploader at all. The only way they would bypass is through a hacked account but how often is that. Ive only seen it once in all the years Ive been here. If they are legit then they wont mind being a little patient
Dammit Ive been here for a long time and just to post comment I need to wait a certain amount of time before I can post another message again lol

If a torrent contains the words "xvid" and either "HD" or "1080p" or "Thrones" in the description, the Fake button should auto-click itself.

i've read somewhere in the forum that automation is not always good,
fakers also are not fully automated and they'll just find ways to evade that auto-click,
so i think people clicking that button is better than auto-clicking although both of them will have a problem

There are *zero* "HD" xvid uploads.
Nuke the fuckers with extreme prejudice.

Actually I am convinced that the MPAA drift-net drones who spam every torrent site with zero-day fakes are automated scripts.

Fake button is a bad idea. Big Brother and assholes could shut the site down. Wanna stop fakes...............get more admins or work harder.

If you kept it restricted to users with a skull, it would be quite handy.

I like the idea of it only being accessible to longer standing accounts. I think six months should be sufficient and it could be limited to 2-3 "reports" per month/week. Mods would only need to take notice if the number rose significantly in either reports per hour or total count per seeds got high enough. It certainly has its abuse potential but I think it could be implemented in a way such as to minimize that abuse.

I'd like to be able to report fakes, too, but I don't think it's practical.
How many times have you seen a legit torrent where some fool has left a comment saying it's fake?
TPB removed the +/- buttons because they weren't beneficial. And a "fake" button would be essentially a "-" button.
