Email accounts outside U.S.?
#1
I was wondering what people think of the idea of using an email service outside the NSA -- I mean USA -- instead of Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL, etc., as a way of minimizing email surveillance by the American government. Sites like

http://www.web.de/
http://www.jubii.dk/
http://www.posta.ro/

Maybe people in countries like Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Romania, etc. can comment on how much snooping goes on with private emails over there. I am in the States and have heard that E.U. has stricter privacy laws than does U.S. I do not know about Aus/NZ or countries in Africa or Asia; maybe people from those regions can offer input too.
